Quality at reasonable rates? Of course!

Translation quotes may appear cheap at first and turn out expensive in the end – if the translation hasn’t undergone a stringent quality control process, which is not as uncommon as one might think. In such cases, the translation may have to be completely revised or even re-translated from scratch. The consequences are higher expenses in terms of cost and time. People then recognize too late that they have tried to save money in the wrong places.

To speak with John Ruskin: "There is hardly anything in the world that someone cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price alone are that person's lawful prey. It is unwise to pay too much, but it is also unwise to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought is incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot... It can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better."

When you work with me, my first step is to discuss your specific requirements with you in order to devise a solution tailored to your budget and particular circumstances.

For each new project you will receive a price or rate quotation which includes a detailed description of the agreed services. This is very important, as every translation and each interpreting service is unique.
